The Self-Directed

Deciding for yourself, mistakes included.

The Convinced Independent

The Wayfarers

What comes next will be decided when it turns up.

The Avowed Opportunist
The Generalist
The Professional Nomad

Where do you stand next to them?

The Civix™ model places every profile on the same six dimensions, including those of characters everyone knows.

Bartleby

Bartleby, the Scrivener

The Self-Directed

He stops carrying out what he is asked while remaining at his desk, and no authority manages to make him take up the imposed method again.

The Team Players

She builds every project around her team, gathers everyone before deciding, and keeps binders on what each of them is good at.

Fictional characters, assigned to a family on the strength of their story, as a landmark. They remain the property of their rights holders and are cited on that basis alone. No real person is classified here, not even a well-known executive: their relationship to work cannot be established from the outside.

How a profile is established

Each theme measures its own dimensions and describes its own profiles. The protocol that establishes them meets the same requirements throughout.

  1. 01

    You answer

A series of statements, one answer each time, on a scale of agreement. About four minutes.

  2. 02

    The model places your answers

Each answer feeds six independent dimensions. Your position on each is compared with that of other respondents.

  3. 03

    You receive your profile

The profile you are closest to among twelve, the family it belongs to, and what sets you apart from it.

In your report

You work better when the ground is stable and the direction known: you know where you want to be in five years and your decisions serve that course. That consistency builds an expertise that zigzag paths do not obtain. It has its flip side: an unforeseen change of direction is expensive, and it takes time to recognise that a course is no longer the right one.
